About the role
Foodelez Egypt For Food & Beverages is adding a Remote Data Entry Typist to support accurate entry, review, and maintenance of structured business records. The role is remote and best suited to someone who works carefully, communicates clearly, and can manage assigned priorities without losing important details. You will use common digital workplace tools to organize assignments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with others. Procedures may evolve over time, so part of the role is learning updated requirements and applying them consistently once they are approved. Accuracy should be preserved even when volume increases. If a deadline conflicts with the quality required to complete work responsibly, you should raise the issue early and make the tradeoff visible to the appropriate owner.
Responsibilities
- Participate in process updates and training when data-entry procedures or systems change.
- Review source documents for completeness, formatting, and obvious discrepancies before finalizing records.
- Maintain organized digital records so information can be located and reviewed efficiently.
- Flag unclear, missing, or conflicting information for review rather than making unsupported assumptions.
- Use spreadsheets and shared tools to track work status, exceptions, and completed items.
- Communicate questions and completion updates clearly through remote collaboration tools.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to checking work before submission.
- Clear written communication and willingness to ask focused questions when source information is unclear.
- Reliable time management in a remote environment with clearly assigned priorities.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain clean records across repeated tasks.
- Comfort learning new data-entry systems and updated process requirements.
