Responsibilities

• Evaluate therapy appropriateness, dosing, and safety based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and suggest alternatives.
• Support complex case reviews and appeals with accurate clinical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Educate internal teams on formulary management, utilization review, and pharmacy policies.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph); PharmD preferred.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in applicable states.
• Experience in pharmacy practice (retail, hospital, or managed care) is preferred.
• Knowledge of formulary management, clinical guidelines, and pharmacy benefit structures.
