Remote CAS Senior Manager | Independent CPA Firm | Up to $180k + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Serve as outsourced Controller for a portfolio of small to middle market privately owned clients — owning the full accounting function end-to-end
• Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger management
• Review and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management deliverables
• Deliver financial statements, management reports, and strategic advisory insights directly to business owners and executives
• Build and maintain strong client relationships — you are their trusted financial partner, not just a service provider
• Supervise, mentor, and develop CAS seniors and staff
• Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships
• Collaborate with tax, assurance, and advisory teams on comprehensive client engagements

Requirements

• 7+ years CAS, outsourced accounting, or client advisory services experience at a public accounting firm
• CPA preferred
• Strong client-facing advisory skills required — you are comfortable presenting financial results, advising business owners, and owning the client relationship
• Full-cycle outsourced accounting experience required — Controller-level ownership of 2–5 clients at a time, not one piece of the process for a high volume of clients
• Diverse experience across small to middle market privately owned businesses — not exclusively HNW individuals
• QuickBooks proficiency — Online and Desktop preferred; additional accounting software experience a plus
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working fully remote
• Must be located in FL, GA, NY, NJ, VA, TX, MO, CT, or CO
