Remote Billing Specialist

About the role

Careerscape is hiring a Billing Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you'll prepare invoices, process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and assist customers with billing inquiries. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions while delivering excellent customer service. Compensation

Competitive annual salary of $55,000 - $85,000

What you'll do

• Prepare and process invoices accurately
• Review billing records and resolve discrepancies
• Process customer payments
• Respond to billing inquiries via phone and email
• Maintain accurate account records
• Cook up with internal departments
• Generate billing reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies

What we're looking for

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge of billing or accounting
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Previous billing experience is a plus but not required

Nice to have

• Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or similar software
• Accounts receivable experience
• Healthcare billing knowledge
• CRM experience
• Customer service background
