Remote Bilingual Customer Support Specialist
About the role
This position is remote and can be located anywhere where posted. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Bilingual Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist!
Responsibilities
- Support multiple programs using multiple platforms, providing a range of services including customer service, visit scheduling, customer enrollment, program offering education, tech support, online support, and/or status updates.
- Each call can be a different utility customer and require a different type of service.
- Wide range of support scripts – verbatim, talking points, or simple usage guides.
- Some programs utilize chat/email interactions with customers.
- Personal performance data and progress accessible in real time.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- No attendance or punctuality concerns.
- Ability to thrive in an intensive environment, balancing customer support while navigating multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous experience within a customer-facing environment required; Call Center experience in an inbound/outbound sales environment preferred.
- Sales-oriented with a focus on customer service satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience handling inbound or outbound voice calls.
- Expertly navigating a script.
- Supporting customers and tech inquires.
- Comfort with a committed schedule with set lunches and breaks.
- Appreciation for goals and performance metrics.
Skills
- High typing speed of 35+ WPM.

Pay
$18.75 / hour + $65 / month internet stipend.
Schedule
Compensation Range: Currency Type - Hourly. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
