Remote BI Project Manager
About the role
This candidate will be responsible for delivering projects "end-to-end", meaning they will oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure. They must have a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum key principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). They should also understand Project Management Methodology and can work in a fast-paced environment, providing status reports, KPIs, and leading stand-ups for developers.
Preferred qualifications include a Project Manager background within a Business Intelligence or Data Analytics environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate documentation into clear, structured user stories that Development and QA teams can easily understand.
- Partner with senior-level business stakeholders; able to independently gather requirements and translate them into user stories for Data Engineers and Architects.
- Present findings to leadership on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of BI tools and platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Familiarity with data and an understanding of complex data projects.
Bonus

- Experience in Python and R coding language
- Microsoft technology exposure to Power Apps, or Power Automate
