Remote Behavioral Medical Director, Eastern Region

Responsibilities

• Lead medical management for quality improvement and cost containment
• Conduct medical reviews for complex and controversial services
• Implement performance improvement initiatives for providers
• Develop goals and policies to enhance care quality and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Engage in direct patient care for high-risk patients
• Collaborate with clinical teams and providers on complex cases

Qualifications

• MD or DO with current state license and no restrictions
• Experience in Utilization Management and quality accreditation standards
• Preferably board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology
• Child Psychiatry certification is a plus
• Experience managing care for diverse populations is preferred
