Responsibilities
- Lead medical management for quality improvement and cost containment
- Conduct medical reviews for complex and controversial services
- Implement performance improvement initiatives for providers
- Develop goals and policies to enhance care quality and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Engage in direct patient care for high-risk patients
- Collaborate with clinical teams and providers on complex cases
Qualifications
- MD or DO with current state license and no restrictions
- Experience in Utilization Management and quality accreditation standards
- Preferably board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology
- Child Psychiatry certification is a plus
- Experience managing care for diverse populations is preferred
