REMOTE Accounting Associate (QuickBooks)

About the role

Looking for a bookkeeper to support a CPA firm that focuses its client base on Dental and Healthcare practices. This person will manage 20-30 different client's books and manage A/P, A/R, month-end, payroll, financial transactions, QuickBooks, and more! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable process, ensuring that all invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner.
• Performing monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and control.
• Supporting the payroll process for clients, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Managing and maintaining the chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the accounting team to improve processes and procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering any accounting-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
• A degree in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or a similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a particular focus on accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative.
