Remodel Travel Merchandiser

The Role

The Reset Travel Merchandiser supports reset and remodel projects across multiple retail locations by following plan-o-grams, placing new items, correcting voids, and performing special merchandising tasks. This role involves representing Acosta, the client, and the customers while collaborating with a team to achieve high-quality in-store execution.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow plan-o-grams to complete reset and remodel activities accurately.
• Move and clean shelves, install racks and fixtures, properly display merchandise, and place tags and shelf strips.
• Check date codes, verify plan-o-grams, assist with pack-outs, restocks, and reorders.
• Partner with store teams and coworkers to ensure merchandising excellence and maintain strong working relationships.
• Prepare, process, and submit required documentation related to assigned projects.
• Follow safety protocols, use appropriate equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of experience using planograms; retail reset experience preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively, up to 100%, including overnight stays Sunday through Thursday.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with store teams and project partners.
• Comfortable using technology such as smartphones, handheld devices, and web-based applications for scheduling, reporting, and training.
• Willingness to work in cold environments for limited periods.
