Remodel Project Lead
About the role
The Remodel Project Lead is responsible for leading the daily job-site production of home remodeling projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This hands-on role supervises Gaspar’s personnel and subcontractors, manages schedules, resolves challenges, and performs skilled carpentry and construction tasks. As the on-site leader, you will maintain safety standards, coordinate with the Production Manager, and deliver projects that exceed expectations. This position will also maintain field records (jobsite binder and lead packet) for all assigned projects, including receipts for materials and equipment delivered to the jobsite.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on residential construction with advanced carpentry skills and prior supervisory experience.
- Skills: Expertise in framing, windows, doors, siding, cabinetry, and finish carpentry; basic knowledge of subcontractor phases. Reading blueprints.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage jobsite operations, and resolve challenges efficiently.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Lead, and OSHA-10, certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Competencies: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Must have current driver's license, auto insurance and submit a background check and drug test.
- Must live within 30 miles of Seattle.
