The Remanufacturing Shop Technician is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, prep, reassembling, and drive train components. The Remanufacturing Shop Technician will report to the Remanufacturing Shop Manager at the Shop in Enid, OK. Essential Functions Cleaning parts and maintaining a safe, clean working environmentWorking on various gearboxes, main shafts and components in the Enid, OK facilityTroubleshooting service/repair needs and performing required work in a timely fashionPromoting a positive safety cultureProtecting RENEW’s value by keeping information confidentialEnhancing RENEW’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add valueParticipate in RENEW’s Technical Training Program to continually improve their skill setOther tasks as assigned Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following: HS DiplomaWind industry experience (or) related industry experience preferredProfessionalismAbility and willingness to learn new software applicationsExcellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task and most importantly, the ability to work well in a teamDemonstrated openness to change, flexibility and adaptabilityStrong analytical thinker with the ability to resolve complex issuesSelf-starter with a drive for continuous improvement of the business operationsExpress willingness to step out of the box to assist other teams to meet and overcome challenges for the company Work Environment/Physical Requirements This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. This position operates in a shop environment. Full Time position up to 40 hours per week; may require occasional overtime as needed Specific Physical Requirements Include On feet for approximately 90% of the time while workingRegularly lifting weights of fifty (50) pounds and up to one hundred (100) pounds occasionallySome travel occasional, possibly overnight at times Pre-Employment Requirements Candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to hiring.
