Relocation Opportunity - Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models
• Determine root cause and corrective actions for equipment issues
• Practice safe job practices
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
• Aid in training lower-level technicians
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance (when required)
• Maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

Other Duties, Assigned as Needed

• Additional tasks as directed by management

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $28 - $52/hr (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided.

Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
