What You'll Do Every shift brings something new. As a Relief Veterinary Technician, you'll: Assist veterinarians with emergency and critical care casesPerform patient triage and ongoing patient assessmentsCollect blood, urine, and other diagnostic samplesPlace and maintain IV cathetersManage and maintain CRIs Administer medications and IV fluids accuratelyMonitor anesthesia and assist with emergency proceduresPerform venipuncture and laboratory testingObtain diagnostic radiographsMonitor hospitalized and ICU patientsCalculate medication dosages and fluid ratesAccurately document treatments and patient careEducate and communicate with pet owners during stressful situationsPrepare and maintain treatment areas and equipmentSupport CPR efforts and other emergency life-saving proceduresWork collaboratively with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care What We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you: Have experience as a Veterinary Technician (emergency experience is a bonus!)Stay cool under pressure and can adapt quicklyLove learning and growing your skillsAre a supportive teammate who enjoys collaborationCare deeply about patient care and client experienceAre comfortable working day shifts, overnights, weekends, or holiday shifts as needed Why EVCC?
