Relief Veterinarian

We're seeking an experienced W-2 Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian to provide coverage across Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic in Central Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care across multiple well-established companion animal hospitals
• Collaborate with different teams, adapting to unique hospital environments and cultures
• Deliver consistent, outstanding patient care and client service

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited college
• Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple hospital environments while maintaining consistent care standards
• Passion for providing outstanding patient care and value flexibility

Pay

$1,200 per shift (plus mileage reimbursement)

Schedule

• Choose your schedule—work 3–4 days per week or approximately 12 shifts per month
• Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM with a 30-minute paid lunch break, Saturdays 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
