Relief Veterinarian
About the role
The PetIQ Relief Veterinarian provides high-quality preventive care and client education at our weekday and weekend Community Clinics. This position offers the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in a supportive environment without the pressures of a full-service clinic.
Responsibilities
- On-site Veterinarian care at our weekday and weekend community clinics
- Perform brief medical exams, including vital signs
- Administer vaccines, limited diagnostic testing, microchipping, and nail trimming
- Provide educational support to pet parents on preventative healthcare and products
- Update electronic medical records according to PetIQ standards
- Deliver care that aligns with PetIQ's medical protocols and best practices
- Contribute to maintaining PetIQ's reputation as a leader in quality, affordable preventative healthcare
Requirements
- Must be a licensed DVM in the state
- Liability insurance: $1M per occurrence/$2M aggregate
- Ability to drive to various locations
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to use iPad/Tablet

- Maintain regular, punctual attendance
