Relief Residential Counselor - Direct Care

Essential Duties

• Promotes optimal health for individuals through routine, preventive, and emergency health care
• Assists with all hands-on direct care which includes but not limited to: showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, meal-time assistance
• Carries out Program and Individual goals as instructed by supervisors
• Provides structure, teaching and counseling as needed
• Provides information through means of log notes, data books, communication logs, or telephone, as needed
• Transports individuals to appointments and activities

Requirements

• Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
• High School diploma/GED, related experience preferred
• Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid MAP certification is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$19 - $20 per hour
