This role is ideal for pharmacists who want to practice at the top of their license, providing clinical services and managing disease states beyond traditional script filling and checking.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
- Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
- Structure and organize workflow for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
- Develop and follow up on long-term care (LTC) business through immediate communication and attention to nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
- Identify Long-Term Care and Specialty business opportunities and communicate them with marketers.
- Dispense medications and related supplies while providing all clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements
- A pharmacy license, or the ability to obtain one without federal sanctions.
- A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
- Current Immunization Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- NPI Number.
