About the role
This role is ideal for pharmacists who want to practice at the top of their license by providing clinical services and managing disease states, rather than just filling and checking prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx; assist with patient enrollment.
- Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
- Structure and organize workflow for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
- Develop and follow up on long-term care (LTC) business through immediate communication with nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
- Identify LTC and Specialty business opportunities and communicate them with marketers.
- Dispense medications and related supplies; provide all clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements
- Pharmacy license or ability to obtain one without federal sanctions.
- PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
- Current Immunization Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- NPI Number.
