Relief Pharmacist

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacist in Linton, North Dakota (store #071) to deliver best‑in‑class pharmaceutical consulting, disease‑state management, medication‑therapy management, and immunizations, while ensuring reliable patient care in compliance with professional standards and state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, assisting patients with enrollment.
• Dispense medications and related supplies, and deliver all clinical pharmacy services.
• Lead, direct, and supervise pharmacy staff in the manager’s absence to accomplish goals.
• Model, coach, and maintain high standards in patient service for the team.
• Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in work roles and modify job responsibilities as required.
• Assist anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

Requirements

• Active pharmacy license (or ability to obtain one without federal sanctions).
• PharmD degree or MTM certification (provide a copy of the ACPE‑approved course completion certificate).
• Current Immunization Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• NPI number.

Physical Demands

• Extended periods of standing.
• Frequent talking, hearing, and use of hands and fingers to operate tools and controls.
• Reaching with hands and arms.
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
