Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Check status of cases/cartons needed in assigned areas of Injection Molding at the beginning of each shift.
• Inform Group Leaders of any changes in lines or machines during the shift.
• Provide full racks of erected cases/cartons to designated locations for ease of retrieval by Molder Operators.
• Relieve Molder Operators for breaks, lunches, and cover absences:
• Knowledge and recognition of plastic fittings by name, shape, and dimension.
• Completion of production line paperwork accurately and in real time.
• Able to identify various types of quality defects based on appearance, fit, form, and function.
• Set-up and verification of weight scales.
• Detection, segregation, and isolation of non-conforming quality defects and notify appropriate parties.
• Minimize downtime by escalating to Mold Technician for machine-related problems.
• Perform 5S audit for each work area assigned on a daily basis.
• Train new Relief Operator personnel as needed and assigned.
• Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (not required).
