Machine Operator $21.59/hr Monday-Thursday 10 hr shifts

About the role

Join our team in Jackson, TN as a Machine Operator. You'll be responsible for operating various manufacturing equipment, monitoring high-temperature furnaces, and performing quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate blade manufacturing equipment including start-up and shutdown, re-starts after stoppages, and problem-solving equipment processing issues.
• Operate and monitor high temperature furnaces, tempering furnaces, endothermic gas generators, and other Heat Treat related equipment.
• Safely operate and move heavy loads on overhead crane systems and mobile equipment.
• Perform cleaning, basic PM, minor changeovers, and adjustments of die sets and applicable tooling.
• Perform necessary quality checks of product using calipers, micrometers, indicators, functional gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Complete operator PM of machinery including required lubrication & maintaining proper oil and coolant levels.
• Maintain and operate multiple machines at a time.
• Complete any and all necessary forms and paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Machine operator experience.
• Comfortable working in a standing job for continuous periods of 8-10 hours and lifting and moving parts containers weighing up to 40 lbs.
