Relief Lab Technician 10am-6:30pm
Responsibilities
- Regulatory assistance
- Recordkeeping
- Systems control
- General lab duties
- Quality and appearance of the product
- Pathogen sampling
- Equipment and environmental swabbing
- Pasteurizer timing/sealing scheduling
- Maintain charts
- Bulk chemical concentration mixing
- Pest control monitoring
- Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas
- CIP systems audits
- General relief lab duties
- Using FT 120, cleaning of work area, washing glassware, using the distiller and cheese grinding
- State required water sampling
- Aid chemical representatives
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in use of the computer.
Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas.
Compliance to Saputo Food Safety policies.
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications

Pay
$28.61 per hour
Schedule
10am-6:30pm, with weekend coverage as needed for vacation relief
