About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Web Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom websites for veterinary practices
• Ensure website accessibility and compliance with WCAG standards
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Implement responsive design to ensure optimal viewing on all devices
• Optimize website performance and speed
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional web development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Understanding of server-side scripting languages like Python or Ruby
• Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
