Relief CSR Driver

About the Role

The Relief Customer Service Representative builds solid, positive working relationships with customers and is highly motivated to exceed their expectations and requirements. Vestis operates in a competitive environment, and successful Relief CSRs balance exceptional customer service with meeting and exceeding individual sales growth goals. As advocates for the organization, Relief CSRs generate goodwill and loyalty while performing their work professionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van in a designated area to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
• Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
• Load and unload products per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads, prospect new customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts. Assist the sales organization with procuring additional business.
• Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and communicate these clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues promptly and courteously.
• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others by using safe precautions, proper tools, and adhering to all safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Customer service experience with consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to resolve customer concerns.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures depending on geographical location.
• Fast-paced environment, sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.

Physical Requirements

• Routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from the truck without assistance.
• Occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
• Position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
