Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled veterinary care to a variety of animal patients.
- Utilize advanced medical techniques and technologies to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through educational programs and workshops.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Current state license to practice veterinary medicine.
- At least three years of relevant experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of empathy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
Skills
- Proficient in emergency medicine protocols.
- Skilled in surgical procedures and critical care management.
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
