Essential Functions And Supporting Duties
- Serves as a liaison between the member and the credit union.
- Provides information to current as well as prospective members on membership eligibility, account types, loan products and any other services the Credit Union offers.
- Responds to members’ requests, problems and concerns and/or directs them to the appropriate person for assistance.
- Provides members with all necessary information for membership, informs members of various account options and credit union services, assists members in opening an account(s) to best meet their needs, and answers any inquiries regarding existing accounts.
- Processes and maintains members’ loan requests.
- Accurately process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and negotiable instruments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.
- Cross-selling other products and services.
Qualifications
- Education: A high school degree or equivalent.
- Required Experience: Cash handling and customer service experience. financial transaction processing.
- Preferred Experience: Financial transaction processing or banking is preferred.
