Relief Counselor - Brain Injury Services
About the role
Eliot – A Place to Belong, Grow, and Inspire Change is seeking a Relief Counselor to join our Brain Injury Services team. Our programs provide high-quality, innovative programming that helps adults with brain injuries enhance their lives, develop skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tasks of daily living to include personal care, meals and ambulation
- Ensure a safe living environment, providing interventions and assistance to maintain safety
- Support clients in integrating into their communities by utilizing community resources, encouraging memberships, and personal relationships
- Aid clients with medical and physical needs
- Help clients participate in activities, attend medical appointments, and maintain meaningful family and community connections
Qualifications
- High School diploma and one year experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral or developmental issues
- Meditation Administration certification preferred
- Ability to drive program vehicle
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle

Pay
$20 - $20 USD per hour
