Relief CNA Transporter

About the role

Grandvue Medical Care Facility (GMCF) in East Jordan is seeking a Relief CNA Transporter to provide safe, comfortable, and compassionate transportation to and from medical appointments for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Accompany residents to medical appointments
• Provide physical and personal care during transportation
• Serve as a positive representative of Grandvue in the community
• Cook up and document services in the EMR system
• Aid in the cleaning and maintenance of the transportation van
• Assist residents with personal belongings
• Coordinate the replacement, labeling, or repair of eyeglasses and hearing aids
• Support in neighborhood and community settings as needed

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• At least one year of CNA experience
• Valid chauffeur’s license
• Ability to safely transport and assist residents with varying physical needs
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A caring, dependable, and professional approach to working with residents

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

• Experience in community settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Skills

Desired skills include:

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
