RELIEF CARE ASSISTANT

About the role

As a Care Assistant, you'll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. You'll get to know each resident as an individual—what matters to them, what makes them smile—and tailor your support to help them live well. No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence, choice, and dignity
• Assisting with meals, activities, and wellbeing
• Working as part of a supportive team to deliver outstanding care
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements

You don't need to have worked in care before (although it's great if you have). What really matters is who you are:

• Kind, patient, and compassionate
• A great listener with a positive attitude
• Reliable and a strong team player
• Comfortable supporting people with a range of needs
• Willing to learn and develop

Pay

12-hour shifts (8am–8pm), including some weekends
