Reliable In-Home Caregiver for Individual with Cerebral Palsy

About the role

ExpertCare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dedicated Caregiver to provide 1:1 support for a 49-year-old male in Dearborn Heights diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. This position requires hands-on assistance and attentive support throughout daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care support, including hands-on assistance with daily living activities
• Aid with total personal care as well as hygiene routines and provide prompts as needed
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Encourage and assist with light exercise and mobility
• Provide companionship and promote socialization
• Complete light household chores related to client care
• Support skill-building activities and overall quality of life
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment at all times

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from cases
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
