Reliability Supervisor

About the role

The role of Reliability Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the production processes within the facility. This includes overseeing maintenance schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent breakdowns and improve productivity.
• Manage resources including personnel, tools, and spare parts to support maintenance tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall plant performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with asset management systems such as SAP or similar ERP solutions.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
