About The Role

As a Reliability Engineer, you will serve as the strategic architect of asset performance at our Curtis Bay facility. This role goes beyond simple maintenance; you will be the primary driver of continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven methodologies to eliminate equipment failures and optimize lifecycle costs. By conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and developing proactive asset care plans, you will transform "bad actor" equipment into reliable assets, ensuring the long-term stability and safety of our chemical manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts Critical Equipment Analysis
  • Conducts Equipment Criticality Assessments
  • Manages critical equipment lists
  • Creates asset care plans for critical assets
  • Tracks and analyzes reliability data on critical equipment
  • Analyze bad actors and develop improvement plans through data driven methodologies
  • Develop Maintenance Strategies by equipment types
  • Supports and facilitates RCA’s
  • Updates Engineering Drawings and Documents to reflect field conditions
  • Supports area Maintenance Engineer
  • Identifies and scopes maintenance/reliability improvement projects
  • Affords assistance with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
  • Supports Purchasing/Goods Receipts/New Vendors/Requisitions
  • Participates in safety programs and initiatives
  • Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOCs)

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • BS in Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineer highly preferred)
  • Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical
  • Experience in CMMS maintenance system (SAP a plus)

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $100,000-135,000 annually (depending on shift)
