Reliability & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Our client is seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer in La Porte, TX, responsible for developing detailed estimates and proposals for chemical cleaning, steam blow, and lubrication services while supporting sales, operations, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineered job estimates/proposals per the direction of the Chem-Clean Services Director
• Work with third parties to gather cost to support quote generation
• Enter customer and job-related data into NetSuite CRM software systems
• Maintain Tracking and SME related items request document
• Communicate daily with Senior Account Manager’s and Inside Sales
• Provide account management support to Sales team, customers, operations, and internal department
• Estimate lubrication-based jobs for manpower, equipment, materials, and timeframe
• Ability to write lube oil service procedures, including marking flow path on PIDs
• Work with vendors to gather pricing for input into quotes
• Participate in team safety meetings and cross-functional planning sessions
• Online/remote safety training as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and 5+ years Project management in field Chemical Cleaning services
• Engineering degree preferred
• Proficient in MS Office with a strong emphasis on MS Office and NetSuite CRM software
• Equivalent combination of experience and training provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Must be authorized to work within the United States
• 10+ years’ experience in Steam Blow Services
• 10+ years’ experience in Chemical Cleaning Services
