Reliability Engineering Specialist
About the role
Responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of manufacturing processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze potential failure modes in production processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor other engineers on reliability engineering principles and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Experience with reliability software tools such as FMEA, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
