Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability across plant operations.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs.
• Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, piping systems, and process equipment.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Utilize CMMS systems to support maintenance planning and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Process Safety Management (PSM), and plant safety standards.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, piping systems, and process instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with RCA, FMEA, RCM, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Vibration Analysis, and Oil Analysis.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMRP Certification.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
• Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
