Reliability Engineer
What's the Job?
Define and lead reliability strategies for emerging technologies with limited historical data and evolving architectures.
Develop physics of failure-based models to predict degradation and failure modes across various domains.
Create accelerated stress test plans and innovative characterization methods for first-of-kind technologies.
Collaborate with design teams to incorporate reliability-centric requirements and design decisions.
Analyze prototypes and test results to identify root causes, quantify risks, and recommend improvements.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reliability engineering or related fields.
- Strong understanding of physics of failure, reliability modeling, and accelerated life testing.
- Hands-on experience with reliability test equipment, environmental stress methods, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, reliability prediction tools, and design-for-reliability methodologies.
