Job Scope
This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a Mechanical Integrity Program to meet PSM and RMP requirements for manufacturing fixed and rotating equipment at the McIntosh site. The position focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Aid maintenance teams with troubleshooting as needed.
- Set up, adjust, or replace spare parts for equipment as required.
- Provide backup support for the Maintenance Supervisor when needed.
- Represent the McIntosh site Reliability function within the Advanced Materials Division.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 3+ years of relevant experience in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for one year of formal education (where applicable).
- Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft Office programs; strong leadership qualities; demonstrated problem-solving skills; business-oriented mindset; strong interpersonal and communication skills; working knowledge of Process Safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations; strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API); experience with SAP, LIMS, PI systems, and other engineering or data analysis tools; self-motivated, proactive, and able to drive continuous improvement initiatives; strong analytical and engineering reasoning capabilities; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders; strong leadership and coordination skills across functions.
