Responsibilities
- Lead the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends in equipment performance.
- Drive the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct analysis/investigations and provide leadership to others in Failure Mode & Effects Analysis & Root Cause Analysis.
- Ensure the results from this analysis become the basis for the applicable Equipment Maintenance Strategies.
- Manage the company’s Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program.
- Support plants in the field implementation of all the above strategies.
- Provide technical support and involve asset subject matter experts and suppliers/vendors as needed.
- Represent the West Coast plants and actively participate in the Reliability Network meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mechanical engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant maintenance and reliability experience, preferably in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery production plants.
- Travel (30-50%) to support Reliability Network for activities in the West Coast and in the Network.

- API and ASME Codes and Standards
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
- Formal Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) training/certification
- SAP experience
- Proven analytical troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented, data-based decision maker
- Strong, clear, and concise communication (written and verbal)
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
