About the role
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for improving plant performance, asset utilization, and mechanical integrity within the chemical manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute reliability strategies, predictive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead mechanical integrity programs
- Perform reliability analysis
- Drive corrective actions using data-driven tools (e.g., RCFA, FMEA)
- Support capital projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and comply with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 5 Years manufacturing experience in maintenance/reliability, preferably in the chemical industry
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- API Certification preferred
Competencies
- Experience with reliability tools such as RDFA, FMEA, Weibull analysis, statistical analysis, etc.
- Knowledge of applicable use of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices including ASME, API, ASTM
