About the role

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for improving plant performance, asset utilization, and mechanical integrity within the chemical manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute reliability strategies, predictive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead mechanical integrity programs
  • Perform reliability analysis
  • Drive corrective actions using data-driven tools (e.g., RCFA, FMEA)
  • Support capital projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and comply with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • 5 Years manufacturing experience in maintenance/reliability, preferably in the chemical industry
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • API Certification preferred

Competencies

  • Experience with reliability tools such as RDFA, FMEA, Weibull analysis, statistical analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of applicable use of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices including ASME, API, ASTM
