What You Will Do
Lead a team of analysts that utilize various PdM Technologies: Ultrasonic, Vibration, Infrared Thermography, and Oil Analysis to determine machine condition.
Set priorities to efficiently monitor area equipment to support area needs.
Communicate the findings of the analyst group with area reliability and leadership.
Ensure proper operation of all condition monitoring systems.
- Handheld data collection and analysis using a multi-channel spectrum analyzer.
- Explore and determine value added advancements in machine monitoring.
- Develop and maintain reliability reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
- Lead the effort of sharing knowledge with peers for maintaining and troubleshooting various machines.
- Collaborate with area Maintenance and Reliability, assisting with equipment decisions, related to equipment health, and preventative maintenance.
- Apply all applicable codes, regulations, reliability strategies, corporate and OEM standards.
- Improve operational throughput by anticipating and preventing potential events.
- Participate in failure analysis and perform corrective actions as requested.
- Aid in the development and implementation of reliability maintenance strategies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in root cause failure analysis.
- Experience with online vibration data collection and analysis tools.
- Working knowledge and understanding of rotating equipment such as fans, motors, gearboxes, pumps, etc. from an operations and maintenance perspective, mechanically and electrically.
- Thermal Imaging ISO/ASNT Certification ISO Category II Vibration Analysis Certification.
- Willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks repetitively for extended periods of time, e.g.; lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
