Release Manager

About the role

Solving the technical challenge of autonomous vehicles is one of the most exciting opportunities of our lifetime. As part of the Release Management team at Zoox, you will own all aspects of the software release process and help accelerate our product development.

Responsibilities

• Own the software release process and ensure the safe and reliable delivery of software updates.
• Track and update testing strategies, measure system performance, and escalate issues during testing phases.
• Coordinate with cross-divisional teams to streamline release processes and enhance product capabilities.
• Guide test methodologies to ensure functional and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience working with large, complex products.
• Understanding of software version control systems, especially git.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in defining release readiness criteria and ensuring changes meet these criteria before deployment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CI build systems and ability to troubleshoot failures.
• Experience with large-scale process improvement and automation projects.
• Broad understanding of programming structures and multi-platform build environments.
• Fluency in programming languages and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT.

Pay

$140,000 - $190,000 a year Base Salary Range
