Release Manager

This is a 6-18 months contract and will be remote in United States. Must work on long term projects EST folks Strong comms Linkedin 2020 or before and match with resume. What You'll Be Doing Shepherd application code through the complete release lifecycle from development to production deploymentCoordinate quality gates, user acceptance testing, regression testing, performance testing, and penetration testing across multiple concurrent releasesManage weekly release schedules coordinating dozen+ deployments across 100+ engineers and cross-functional stakeholdersDrive migration of on-premises deployment pipelines to Azure-based CI/CD infrastructureFacilitate release readiness reviews ensuring completion of auditable deliverables, testing requirements, and rollback plansMaintain and execute deployment automation pipelines while ensuring platform integrity and zero-downtime deploymentsCollaborate with developers, validators, technical teams, business partners, and database/network teams throughout release cyclesEstablish continuous release cadences supporting daily microservice builds and bi-weekly sprint cyclesIdentify and mitigate cross-application dependencies, deployment conflicts, and release risksConduct post-release reviews and implement process improvements to enhance delivery speed and reliability What You'll Need To Have 6+ years of Release Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience in enterprise environmentsProven expertise in release coordination and communication across technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong multitasking ability managing multiple concurrent releases and competing prioritiesHands-on experience with GitLab including Git-based version control, branching strategies, and code promotion modelsDeep knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, development, administration, and executionProficiency in PowerShell for deployment automation and scriptingExperience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based software delivery platformsFinancial services or highly regulated industry experience
