Relationship Specialist I

About the role

The Role: Relationship Specialist I at VyStar Credit Union provides member experiences, identifies needs, grows relationships, and processes transactions. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus previous experience in sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide member experiences in-person and on the phone, including greeting and welcoming, and strengthening relationships through quality conversations and cross-selling solutions.
• Identify member needs and position appropriate deposit, credit, insurance, and investment solutions.
• Handle account transactions, open accounts, and process loan applications.
• Explain basic credit and savings options and refer more complex products.
• Support initiatives and campaigns, exercise sound judgment, and remain compliant.
• Engage proactively with members through outbound calls, addressing needs and providing comprehensive solutions.
• Resolve member problems independently, seeking to find ways to a "yes" whenever possible, and escalate complex concerns.
• Lead by example through community service, demonstrating VyStar's Standards of Excellence and Behaviors of Excellence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Previous experience in sales and/or customer service
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the Internet and Microsoft Office
• Outgoing personality and strong desire to help people
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to handle many tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Passion for sales

Pay

Schedule
