About the role
The Role: Relationship Specialist I at VyStar Credit Union provides member experiences, identifies needs, grows relationships, and processes transactions. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus previous experience in sales and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide member experiences in-person and on the phone, including greeting and welcoming, and strengthening relationships through quality conversations and cross-selling solutions.
- Identify member needs and position appropriate deposit, credit, insurance, and investment solutions.
- Handle account transactions, open accounts, and process loan applications.
- Explain basic credit and savings options and refer more complex products.
- Support initiatives and campaigns, exercise sound judgment, and remain compliant.
- Engage proactively with members through outbound calls, addressing needs and providing comprehensive solutions.
- Resolve member problems independently, seeking to find ways to a "yes" whenever possible, and escalate complex concerns.
- Lead by example through community service, demonstrating VyStar's Standards of Excellence and Behaviors of Excellence.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in sales and/or customer service
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in the Internet and Microsoft Office
- Outgoing personality and strong desire to help people
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to handle many tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Passion for sales

Pay
Part time positions start at a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Schedule
