Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional member experiences in-person and on the phone, using open-ended discovery questions to build relationships.
- Identify and address member needs, recommending appropriate VyStar financial solutions.
- Handle personal and business account transactions, open new accounts, and process loan applications.
- Explain basic financial concepts and refer members to more complex products.
- Support and participate in Credit Union initiatives and campaigns.
- Exercise sound judgment, remain compliant, and work independently.
- Lead by example through community service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, utilizing available tools for comprehensive follow-up.
- Engage proactively with members through outbound calls to understand needs and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Resolve member problems independently, addressing objections and educating members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, community service, military service, asking questions, offering recommendations, and making referrals is preferred.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Internet and Microsoft Office.
- A professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- A genuine passion for sales.
