Relationship Specialist

Benchmark Community Bank is seeking an outgoing and service-oriented Relationship Specialist for our brand-new branch in Oxford, North Carolina. This role leaves a lasting impression and assists customers with a variety of financial transactions.

About the role

As a Relationship Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers at our Oxford branch. Your friendly and service-oriented personality will help build relationships while efficiently processing routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments. You will also recommend financial products and services to meet customers' current and future needs. Responsibilities include new account processing, updating customer and account information, and providing needs-based solutions. You will thrive in a fun, supportive team environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build relationships in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments
• Recommend financial products and services to meet customers' needs
• Handle new account processing and update customer and account information
• Provide needs-based solutions for customers
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous banking experience preferred
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Experience working with the public and handling money
• Basic math and computer skills

Schedule

This is a full-time position with scheduled hours of Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekends are off.

Pay

Salary range: $20/hr. - $26.76/hr.
