About the role

As a Relationship Manager I within PNC's Small Business Banking organization, you will be based in Owings Mills, MD. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals. Typically works with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs, generally with a higher degree of supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
  • Handle the origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
  • Actively identify and mitigate different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Provide ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being to increase client engagement and loyalty.
  • Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community and industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience.
  • Present the full range of PNC's products and services to bring the entire bank to the client.
  • Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk by utilizing knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
  • Typically requires 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
  • Certifications are often desired.

Pay

Base Salary: $82,500.00 – $137,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
