About the role

As a Relationship Manager within PNC's Small Business Banking organization, you will be based in Bel Air, MD. This is an in-office position where you will handle relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals. You will typically work with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs, generally under a higher degree of supervision.

With direction, you will acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Responsibilities include originating, analyzing, negotiating, and documenting credit and non-credit products and services, managing risk, and driving quality for clients. You will actively identify and mitigate risks such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well-being to increase client engagement and loyalty.
  • Build an effective network of internal and external relationships (e.g., community and industry) to acquire new clients, expand existing relationships, and enhance the client experience.
  • Present the full range of PNC’s products and services to bring the entire bank to the client.
  • Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of practices that align customer needs with business decisions, and skilled in managing risk to adhere to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service).

Pay

Base Salary: $82,500.00 – $137,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
