About the role
The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience. The primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, improve financial wellness, and build meaningful personal connections with customers.
Responsibilities
- Handle transactional needs such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests.
- Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their banking needs.
- Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions like mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
- Aid branch and team members in resolving customer service inquiries.
- Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals and needs.
- Adhere to bank processes and procedures, including completing duties delegated by the Branch Manager.
- Identify and report operational risks to ensure sound banking practices.
- Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with meeting their financial needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Part Time Schedule
This position is part-time, working 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
