The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow their career. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, managing transactions, and assisting customers with their financial needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller activities.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking history and needs.
• Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions like mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
• Aid branch and team members in resolving customer issues and referring customers to internal experts for more complex needs.
• Adhere to bank processes and procedures, including managing cash and following applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week and be eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Participate in a formulaic incentive plan based on performance against defined metrics and goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of banking, cash-handling, or customer service experience
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
• Effective communication skills, both in person and through electronic channels
• Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
