About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The goal is to provide exceptional customer service, improve financial wellness, and offer personalized advice.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller duties
• Answer customer inquiries and fulfill basic servicing requests like card replacements, PIN resets, and check orders
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs
• Provide education on digital banking options and encourage the use of Regions’ products and services
• Aid branch colleagues in resolving customer issues and refer complex cases to specialists
• Comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulations, including following assigned tasks and reporting operational risks
• Conduct outbound calls to educate customers on new technologies and assist with their financial needs
• Track and report hours worked, eligible for overtime under FLSA

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handling cash and processing transactions
• Effective communication in person, on the phone, and via electronic channels
• Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Standing and lifting capabilities
